World Ozone Day 2023

We observe World Ozone Day annually on 16 September to commemorate the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer was accepted during on 16 September 1987. This day encourages everyone to understand the value of protecting the Ozone layer and how the layer is helpful for all living beings. The Ozone layer protects us from harmful UV rays, and it is our responsibility to preserve this layer from the utmost chemical damage.

On this occasion the Department of chemistry, Govt. Degree College, Rampachodavaram invited all the staff and students to the celebrations.

Mr.K.G.Venkatesh, Lecture in Chemistry has given the welcome address of the event.
