NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS REPORT

As a convenor, I deem it a great honour and privilege to submit a report on this memorable occasion. Ever since 1987, our country has beenc elebrating the National science day on 28th February to commemorate thei nvention of “Raman Effect”by one of the renowned Physicist of India.

On the occasion of National Science Day-2023, All science departments ina ssociation with science club in Govt. Degree college, Rampachodavaramc onducted various competitions like Elocution, quiz, poster presentation ands cience projects exhibition for both high school and college students as junior

and senior categories to sensitize the students on social, cultural and ethicali ssues. Nearly 250 Students from various schools and colleges in and aroundR ampachodavaram, mandal have participated actively in the events with greate nthusiasm.

Science day celebrations started by Dr.V Srinivasa Rao,principal and president of the program with the inaugural session on 25nd Feb 2023 witht he lighting of the lamp and paying homage to Sir C.V.Raman.
